Cookasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he 483W will examine several of the proposals of the Lucas Aerospace workers, as outlined in the corporate plan proposals and, in particular, the proposal to develop a hybrid power-pack for the private car which reduces toxic emissions by 80 per cent.
§ Mr. ShoreMy Department has now received a summary of proposals in the corporate plan. I have asked my officials to consider those proposals which relate to my responsibilities.
