§ 47. Mr. David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Industry in view of the latest Confederation of British Industry survey of business prospects, what is his estimate for the growth of manufacturing output in the United Kingdom in the current year.
Mr. Alan WilliamsThe main forecast in the Financial Statement and Budget Report indicated that manufacturing output is expected to rise by 2½ 367W per cent. between the first half of 1978 and the first half of 1979. I see no reason to revise this forecast.
