§ Mr. RowlandsIt is estimated that there are 17,000 Cuban military personnel in Ethiopia, many of whom are combat troops. In Angola the estimate is that a large number of the 20,000 Cubans are military personnel. No accurate estimate can be given of the Cuban military presence which exists in other African countries.
