§ Mr. John SilkinThe current difference between the new rate for the green pound and the market rate used for MCA purposes is 30.8 per cent. This already applies to pigmeat when it gives an applied MCA percentage of 29.3. The new rate will be applied for the beef and milk sectors from 22nd May and for the other sectors from the start of the relevant marketing year.
