§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs with regard to Basket III of the Helsinki Agreement, what latest estimate he has made of the number of copies of Pravda, and any other Soviet newspaper or magazine, on open sale to members of the public in the United Kingdom; and whether any special ban exists to prevent open sale of as many copies as any person may wish to buy.
§ Mr. RowlandsThere are no discriminatory measures or limits affecting the open sale in the United Kingdom of newspapers from the Soviet Union or any other country. The Government do not keep statistics on these sales.
