§ Mr. McElhoneTransport and roads policy for Scotland were covered in the White Paper on transport policy (Cmnd. 6836) published in June last year. As that document made clear, further White Papers will be produced at about three-yearly intervals and there will be each year a statement on the road programme in Scotland. The first such statement will be included in the Scottish Development Department annual report which will be published shortly.
