§ Mr. McElhone14.2 miles of M90 are at present without hard shoulders. Work will start in late summer on the provision of hard shoulders on 7.6 miles at a cost of £1.7 million. The remaining 6.6 miles have laybys at 1-mile intervals and 1 metre hard strips.
