§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for Trade when he intends to introduce a new Merchant Shipping Bill.
§ Mr. Edmund DellUnfortunately it is most unlikely that Parliamentary time can be found for a Bill this Session. However a White Paper entitled "Action on Safety and Pollution at Sea: New Merchant Shipping Bill" is to be published on 15th May: this will include draft clauses and an Explanatory Memorandum.
