§ Mr. Edmund DellBritish Airways' policy on aircraft purchases is to apply commercial criteria in considering fleet replacements in order to select the aircraft which best meet the airline's requirements. Government approval is required for all British Airways' aircraft acquisitions and, in reaching decisions I take into account all relevant factors, including the interests of the British aerospace industry.
