My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Employment has given the figures for Great Britain. The corresponding figures for Scotland are as follows:

land is part of an ongoing examination to enable adjustments to be made when and where necessary to meet changes in applicant demand and the needs of the labour market. As I indicated in my reply to my hon. Friend on 10th January 1978—[Vol. 941, c. 719.]—the Manpower Services Commission has agreed that there should be an additional skillcentre in the Glasgow area to cater for the needs of the 1980s and beyond. The location will be announced as soon as possible.
