§ Mr. Hendersonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what contact, advice or assistance was offered to the skipper and crew of the Peterhead fishing vessel "Regent Bird" following their arrest in the early hours of 28th April 1978.
§ Mr. JuddWhen the consul in Bergen was informed by the local police of the arrest of the "Regent Bird" he telephoned the skipper and offered his assistance. The skipper's only request was that a message be passed to the owners about the trawler's arrest and asking them to contact him. This was done.
