§ Mr. John GrantThe Department of Employment Vote for 1978–79 includes a total of £27,536,000 revenue and £4,284,000 capital provision intended to maintain and develop sheltered employment for severely disabled people in workshops operated by Remploy Ltd., local authorities and voluntary undertakings. The local authorities and voluntary undertakings themselves also contribute to the cost of operating the workshops.
