§ Mr. EadieThere have been no recent formal consultations about gas and electricity links between Great Britain and Northern Ireland, but there have been talks between officials of my Department and of the Northern Ireland Departments concerned, relevant to a gas link. For geographical reasons, a direct404W electrical link would have to be developed by the Northern Ireland Electricity Service and the South of Scotland Electricity Board, which are the responsibilities of my right hon.
