HC Deb 08 May 1978 vol 949 c399W
Mr. Kilfedder

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether, under the Education and Libraries Order (Northern Ireland) 1972, the existing rates of grant of 100 per cent. of recurrent expenditure and 85 per cent. of capital expenditure will be affected where a particular voluntary or maintained grammar school refuses to co-operate in the application of a comprehensive policy.

Mr. Carter

The Government have taken no decision on future financial assistance for voluntary schools and will not do so until after the working party on financing voluntary schools in a non-selective system, chaired by Dr. Benn, has reported.
