§ Mr. HattersleyFollowing consultation with the Price Commission and the Director General of Fair Trading, I have today directed the Price Commission to examine and report to me on the charges, costs and margins in the hiring of television sets for domestic use; and on the prices, costs and margins in the production and distribution of toothpaste. The examinations will cover the larger television rental companies and certain toothpaste suppliers, but will not necessarily be confined to them.
