Mr. Frank Allaun

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will ask the Indonesian Government to undertake that eight Hawk ground attack/trainer aircraft sold to the Government will not be used against the people of West Papua, New Guinea.

Mr. Rose

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether any provision has been made in relation to the contract of sale of eight Hawk ground attack/trainer aircraft to Indonesia to prevent their being used in actions against West Papua, New Guinea; and if he will make a statement.
