§ Mr. Powellasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the nationality of the person whom he advised not to be entitled to seek election in Harrow at the forthcoming local 225W government elections; and whether that person's name appears on the electoral register.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesThe person concerned claims the status of a British protected person. As such, he would not be entitled to stand for election or to vote, although I understand that his name does appear on the electoral register for the London borough of Harrow.
