§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many letters were received on the subject of scientology in each of the years following the publication of the report of the inquiry into the practices and effects of sicentology from members of the pub- 142W lic; and, of these, how many were (a) favourable, (b) unfavourable and (c) neutral towards Scientology.
§ Mr. MoyleThe information requested in the first part of the Question is not readily available and could not be obtained without a disproportionate amount of time and cost. It would in any case be impracticable to allocate the correspondence to the categories specified in the second part of the Question as it does not lend itself to such clearcut distinctions.
