Friend the Secretary of State for Transport has received a letter from the British Importers Confederation asking him to intervene in the dispute. ACAS has not been invited to intervene by either side 73W involved in the dispute, but its services are available whenever they are required. I do not think it would be appropriate for me to comment further at this stage.
