Friend the Minister of State said on this subject in the debate in the House on 16th March.—[Official Report, 17th March, c. 785–815.] It is in our interests, as well as those of the Community, that we should work together to seek common answers to the serious economic problems facing us. I believe that the Commission's proposals should be considered in that context.
