§ Mr. OakesThe Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy 665W publishes annually statistics on expenditure by library authorities in England and Wales, including expenditure per-1,000 population. Figures of actual expenditure in 1976–77 were published earlier this month and of estimated expenditure in 1977–78 in July last year. Details of local authority expenditure on museums and galleries in 1976–77 have also been published by this body and figures for 1977–78 will be available shortly.
