§ Mr. Parryasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether holders of Hong Kong British Passports will be considered for the issue of the European passport.
§ Mr. LuardEuropean uniform passports would be issued only to United Kingdom nationals enjoying the right of free movement within the Community countries, as denned in the declaration annexed to the Treaty of Accession. Persons holding Hong Kong British passports would not be eligible unless falling within that category.
