§ Dr. John CunninghamInformation so far received indicates that the £5 payment was made to about 2.83 million persons in receipt of supplementary benefit or family income supplement in the week commencing 16th January. The information requested is not available in detail, but about half the eligible population are pensioners and about a sixth are non-householders.
