§ Mr. MulleyNo. A non-statutory public inquiry is one of the methods for dealing with unresolved disagreements arising out of Government development proposals of all kinds. If there is no disagreement, or if there are ways in which objections can be met or overcome, the holding of an inquiry would be unnecessary.
