asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what was the average bed occupancy rate for Trelisk Hospital, Truro, for the last six months, and what was the national average figure for similar establishments in other parts of the country.

The average bed occupancy rates in the main specialities at the Royal Cornwail Hospital, (Treliske), for the six months ended 31st December 1977 are compared below with the average bed occupancy rate in the same specialities for all hospitals in England in 1976, the latest year for which figures are available:
