MorrisSince early 1973, kidney transplant donor cards have278W been freely available to civil servants from dispensers on staff notice boards and other suitable places, or from staff welfare officers. The importance of the kidney transplant donor scheme was emphasised in a circular to all Government Departments at that time, and announcements were made in office notices and news sheets.
The Department of Health and Social Security expects shortly to be distributing donor cards direct to all its staff, and consideration will then be given to arrangements for further publicity for the scheme and availability of cards in other Departments.
