§ Mr. Joel BarnettFormal notice of presentation of the Defence Estimates 1978–79 was given on 20th February, and of Civil Estimates 1978–79 on 23rd February. In accordance with normal practice, publication of Estimates will be completed on the date of the Budget. Class 1 was published on 20th February and Class III on 10th March. It is planned to publish Classes II and IV on 17th March, Classes VI, VII, VIII and Class X, which includes the Tate Gallery annual purchase grant, on 31st March, Classes IX, XIII and XIV on 7th April and Classes XI, XII, XV and XV1I on 11th April.
