§ Mr. Hugh D. BrownLocal authorities have been asked to assess sympathetically applications for housing from personnel, especially family men, when they leave either the Armed Forces or the Prison Service. The Green Paper "Scottish Housing" (Cmnd. 6852) sets out proposals for a major study of allocation policies and practices which I would expect to examine the special problems faced by all those in tied accommodation.
