§ Mr. MoyleThe table shows the number and whole-time equivalents of consultants and other doctors holding hospital posts in the speciality of gynaecology and obstetrics in the National Health Service in England on 30th September of the year stated. A breakdown of sub-speciality is not available. The table also shows the number of general practitioner obstetricians, that is, doctors whose obstetric experience has been approved by local obstetric committees. Figures for 1978 are not yet available.
