asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much money has been made from community relations to stated organisations in the parliamentary constituency of Lambeth, Central for the longest period of time.

The information requested is not readily available in relation to constituency boundaries. Financial assistance given by the Community Relations Commission to local authorities and other organisations, including some wholly or partly within Lambeth, Central, is listed in the Commission's annual reports for 1967–76. Similar information for 1977–78 will be available in the Commission for Racial Equality's annual report later this year. Between 1st April 1967 and 31st March 1978 a total of about £755,000 was paid to Lambeth Borough Council under Section 11 of the Local Government Act 1966.
