asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish a table indicating the level of expenditure, in the boundaries of each region in Scotland on trunk roads and motorways from the reorganisation of local government to date for each year.

The following table shows the expenditure on the trunk roads and motorways for which the Secretary of State is responsible in each region from 1st April 1975 onwards.

a decision on the Moss Moran project, he will take into account any evidence which may be available as a result of the two recent explosions in the United States of America arising out of the transport of petrochemical substances.

The decision will take account of all relevant evidence and advice received.
