HC Deb 13 March 1978 vol 946 c1W
Mr. Viggers

asked the Prime Minister whether he is satisfied, in view of the Foreign Affairs implications and oil exploration possibilities, with the co-ordination of Government policy on the Falkland Islands; and which Ministers are responsible for different aspects of Her Majesty's Government's policy toward the Falkland Islands.

The Prime Minister

Yes. Her Majesty's Government's policy towards the Falkland Islands, as with all other dependent territories, is the responsibility of the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary, who consults fully with other Ministers as appropriate.
