§ Mr. Joel BarnettThe United Kingdom's net contribution to the Community Budget in 1976 was £167.3 million. The net figure takes account of all receipts by 39W the United Kingdom from the Community Budget including those in respect of monetary compensatory amounts (mca's) paid to the United Kingdom. Since mid-1976, most mca's have been paid in other member States instead of the United Kingdom. I shall write to the hon. Member about the ratio of the net payment to the Community budget to the total amount of international debt interest payments.
