Member for Tynemouth (Mr. Trotter), Official Report, 27th February, c. 91, if he will identify the equipment programmes which are to be effected by changes in completion and starting dates in consequence of the additional £261 million cut in defence spending in 1978–79.
§ Dr. GilbertChanges in completion and delivery dates which have contributed to the £261 million saving have involved a wide range of equipment programmes to varying degrees. The principal area affected has been the aircraft programme.
