§ Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will publish a table showing (a) the cost of energy consumed by services and buildings within his departmental responsibility, in each of the past five years, (b) the percentage change in energy consumption for each year, using 1973 as base year and (c) an estimate of the cash and percentage of energy saved as a result of conservation measures.
§ Mr. William RodgersThe energy requirements of all my Department's services and buildings, in common with those of most other Departments, are a matter for the Property Services Agency of the Department of the Environment. I therefore refer the hon. Member to the reply to the question which he has put to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment.
