§ Mr. Brothertonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what steps he is taking to ensure that the element of Class 4 national insurance contribution paid by the self-employed since 1975 attributable to the earnings related pension scheme is refunded now that they have been excluded from the scheme.
§ Mr. OrmeNone. No part of national insurance contributions of any class payable since 6th April 1975 has been attributable to the earnings-related pension scheme, which does not come into operation until 6th April 1978.
