asked the Minister of Overseas Development what account she has

Cape Verde 5,000 tonnes Delivered December 1977.
Gambia 1,000 tonnes Delivered January 1978.
Senegal 5,000 tonnes Delivery anticipated April 1978.
Mauritania 5,000 tonnes Pledged—delivery as soon as possible.
Gambia 1,000 tonnes
Cape Verde 5,000 tonnes
Upper Volta 10,000 tonnes Being supplied by the World Food Programme from the United Kingdom's financial contribution of £3 million to the International Emergency Food Reserve.
Senegal 6,350 tonnes

In addition, the following allocations have recently been agreed for shipment by the EEC, towards which the United Kingdom will be contributing approximately 16 per cent, of the cost:

Chad: 3,500 tonnes
Cape Verde: 7,000 tonnes
Upper Volta: 8,500 tonnes
Mauritania: 7,000 tonnes
Senegal: 18,000 tonnes
Gambia: 3,000 tonnes
Mali: Proposal expected as soon as internal transport availability has been confirmed.

In response to earlier information, we also delivered 5,000 tonnes to Chad in August 1977.
