§ Mr. ConcannonThe British Gas Corporation has estimated the cost of an 18 inch diameter natural gas pipeline, from540W Portpatrick in Scotland to Bangor in Northern Ireland, at £24 million. Linking Portpatrick to the existing pipeline system in Great Britain and bringing the gas into Belfast have been estimated by the corporation to cost a further £18.2 million. Both figures are at 1976 prices.
