§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for Transport whether he will publish the figures for 1977 in respect of fatal, serious and minor accidents (a) in Cambridgeshire, and (b) in the rest of the United Kingdom caused by vehicles parked at night in semi-lit streets; and to what extent reduced street lighting has contributed to the accident statistics.
§ Mr. HoramI regret that detailed information for the whole of 1977 is not yet available. I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 23rd January 1978 quoting available information for 1975 and 1976. Statistics of road accidents in local areas are a matter for the local authorities concerned. I suggest that the hon. Member gets in touch with Cambridgeshire County Council.
