§ Mr. MacGregorasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, in his consideration of further independent local radio franchises, as proposed by the Independent Broadcasting Authority, he will take into account the local feeling in Norfolk, as expressed in the recent letter to him from Norfolk County Council, that Norwich be included to provide an independent local service for Norfolk as a whole.
§ Mr. JohnThe development of local radio services must await the Government's proposals for the future constitution, structure and organisation of broadcasting which my right hon. Friend hopes to publish in the form of a White Paper during the present Session.
