§ Mr. George Gardinerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the meetings between Her Majesty's Customs and Excise and representatives of the wine and spirit industry referred to by the Financial Secretary in his Written Answer on 25th January established a practical means of deferring excise duties on wines and spirits.
