§ Mr. Gwilym Robertsasked the Prime Minister if he will seek to discuss with the President of the United States of America the problems of long-term unemployment in the Western world.
§ The Prime MinisterThe problem of long-term unemployment in the Western world is of the greatest concern. I expect to discuss it, along with other matters, when I next meet President Carter at the meeting of the North Atlantic Council on 30th to 31st May in Washington. I expect also to be seeing President Carter and other Western leaders at the next Economic Summit, when unemployment will certainly be discussed.
§ Mr. Gwilym Robertsasked the Prime Minister if he will discuss with the EEC Heads of Government the problems of long-term unemployment in the Community.
