§ Mr. WellbelovedThe Buccaneer first entered service with the Royal Navy in 1963 and with the RAF in 1969. The Canberra first entered service with the RAF in 1951. No firm date has yet been set for either aircraft to leave front-line squadron service but both types have sufficient life remaining to allow some aircraft to run on for many years.
