§ Q34. Mr. Norman Atkinsonasked the Prime Minister when he expects to receive the major report of the committee to review the functioning of financial institutions; and if he has made arrangements for it to continue beyond the next General Election.
§ The Prime MinisterI understand that the committee hopes to present an interim 633W report at the end of this year and a final report in the second half of 1979. I see no reason why, if there were a dissolution of Parliament before the committee presents its final report, the current arrangements for its work should be affected.
