§ Mr. BennI am at present responsible for 53 full-time and 99 part-time appointments to the boards of nationalised industries which are not subject to regulation by the Civil Service Commission. Annual salaries paid total about £911,000; expenses incurred on the business of the boards are reimbursed. The numbers of posts filled within the statutory complement reflects the needs of individual boards which are kept under regular review.
