§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what progress the Property Services Agency is making over finding a location for a skillcentre in the north-west Glasgow area; and if he is aware that a prime site for a skill-centre is available on the Cowl airs industrial estate.
§ Mr. MarksThe Cowlairs industrial estate is one of several locations in the 327W Glasgow area which the Property Services Agency has identified as likely to be suitable for a skillcentre. These locations will shortly be looked at jointly with the Training Services Agency of the Manpower Services Commission with whom responsibility for final selection rests.
