§ Mr. DeakinsThe only change in the position since I wrote to the hon. Member on 21st April is that the temporary injury 295W allowance which had then been authorised has now been paid. Mr. Merfield has recently questioned the basis on which the allowance was calculated and this is being investigated as a matter of urgency.
