§ Mr. MoyleThe introduction of the experimental emergency schemes has been delayed because of failure to reach agreement with the profession on the fee to be paid to dentists taking part. The Review Body on Doctors' and Dentists' Remuneration was asked to suggest an appropriate fee for emergency schemes generally but felt unable to do so. My Department therefore will shortly be approaching the British Dental Association with a view to reopening negotiations on fees for emergency schemes in general and the experimental schemes in particular.
