§ Mr. John FraserA direction was issued to the Price Commission on 12th December 1977 requiring it to examine and report before 30th June 1978 on the prices, costs and margins in the provision of cab services in Great Britain. As more time was needed for the completion of an inquiry covering not just London but Great Britain as a whole, my right hon. Friend varied the direction on 25th May to provide for the Price Commission to report before 1st September.
