§ Mr. JohnIt is expected that provisional figures for the 1978 register will be published by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys in an OPCS Monitor (Reference EL 78/2) within the next fortnight. Copies will be placed in the Library. Electorates for 1971 were published in the "Registrar-General's Statistical Review of England and Wales for the Year 1971", Part II, pp. 96–97 and final figures for the 1977 register were published by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys in "Electoral Statistics 1977" (Series EL No. 4), copies of which are in the Library.
